We are excited to announce the appointment of Claire Blechman as our new Digital Repository Coordinator, effective January 6, 2025. Claire will oversee the day-to-day operations of the DASH repository, play a key role in our ongoing repository migration project, and enhance communication with students, faculty, and staff regarding all DASH-related services.
Claire brings an extensive skill set in digital asset management, system onboarding, and customer service, which will be invaluable in supporting DASH’s deferred repository and metadata maintenance, streamlining workflows, and enhancing our outreach efforts. Before joining Harvard, Claire served as a client-facing onboarding manager at Bynder, Inc., a leading digital asset management company. She also developed and managed the inaugural digital asset management program at the Peabody Essex Museum and worked as a rights editor at Pearson Learning Solutions. Claire holds a BA in English from SUNY Stony Brook and an MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College. Additionally, she is an active committee member of the Museum Computer Network Conference.
OSRDS is thrilled to have Claire on board and looks forward to the enthusiasm and expertise she will bring to the Harvard Library. Claire’s email address is claire_blechman@harvard.edu.
